God Save the Queen: A Lesson on Queen Esther

In our Sunday night program for this school year, we are visiting countries.  Each month we visit a different country and incorporate parts of that country into our program while also learning a Bible story and memorizing a Scripture verse.

For the month of October we are in England.  I only created one lesson for this month because we are only able to meet once due to school breaks, a big city festival (over 200,000 people visit our small town during this festival…it’s crazy!), and our Trunk-or-Treat at the end of the month.

Last week, we did our lesson in England called “God Save the Queen”.   We learned about how God saved Queen Esther and her people.  We did activities with a double decker bus, a phone booth, and creating the British flag.

I would love to share this full lesson with you!  I have 3 different lesson plans:  preschool, younger elementary, and older elementary.  If you would like a copy of the lesson that I created, just subscribe to my blog via email.  You can do this by entering your email address in the box on the right hand side of the page that says “Let’s Connect”.  Make sure to check your email to confirm your subscription to my blog.  Once you’re confirmed then I will email you a copy of the whole lesson.

**If you already subscribe to my blog and would like a copy of it, just email me at:  kidmindays@gmail.com

It was definitely a fun night where we talked in our British accents and learned about God saving Queen Esther.  Take a look at some fun pictures from the night!

Hi Vanessa, my daughter, Elizabeth Braddock sent me your Expectations for your kids club. I love the way you used LORD to get across your expectations and remind us to pray for and with these kids when behavioral issues happen. We are borrowing your expectations for our Awana Club. I will let you know how it works for us! I am excited about it! Thank you…..Carrie Hugeback, Bartlesville, OK….Eastern Heights Baptist Church

    • That’s great, Carrie!! I am so glad you can use it! I love Liz and her family and am so glad she volunteers in our Children’s Ministry! Blessings to you and your ministry!
