Are you ready to go on a food truck adventure with God?

The Bible Food Truck will take you for a ride through the entire Bible, learning stories about food, drink, and fasting along the way. You will weave your way from the Old Testament to the New Testament, making stops in different books of the Bible to see how food plays a role in so many of our favorite faith stories.

These short devotions can be done around the dinner table or before you head off to school. Each devotion contains Scripture verses, a prayer, and a “Faith To-Go” section that will help you live out your faith every day. Along the way, you’ll also have the fun opportunity to dream up your own perfect food truck! In each section, you’ll design a food truck that will help you connect these Bible stories with practical ways to serve God and help others in your everyday life.

Climb in and buckle up! It’s time to find God on The Bible Food Truck!

What people are saying about The Bible Food Truck!

The Bible Food Truck walks kids through the Bible in a fun, food-centered way! Not only are they hearing Bible lessons chronologically, but kids are given a chance to apply God’s truths to their lives with the “Faith To-Go” application at the end of each devotion. Kids will be challenged to think about God’s Word, live out His teaching, serve His people, and make their own food truck. This devotion will be a family favorite, for sure. I can’t wait to use it with my kids!

Vanessa Myers always finds ways to help kids connect with God’s Word, and The Bible Food Truck does exactly that! I love this food-truck-themed devotion for kids that invites them to dig into the Bible. Each devotion is straightforward and simple enough for kids to digest, but also deep enough to give them something to chew on and apply. The action steps at the end of each devotional help kids take their faith to go, and the overarching project of creating your own food truck is such a fun way to tie all of the devotions together. The Bible Food Truck is a fun and creative way to encourage kids to feast on God’s Word!

With busy, on-the-go lives, I’ve often been afraid my children’s faith would become a sideliner in the hustle and bustle of the everyday. This devotional not only offers short, biblical reminders of God’s faith and love, but it also gives practical steps where our children can take their faith “on-the-go.” I love how Vanessa made the “food” of the Bible so accessible and easy to understand. My kids love these devotions!

A vocational devotional for kids! The Bible Food Truck is conversational with short sentences and kid-friendly vocabulary. Vanessa’s children’s ministry skills really shine through. She starts in Genesis and takes us through the Bible. Each of the 75 devotions begins with a scripture, a short conversational devotion with prayer, and ends with a next step she calls, “Faith To-Go.” This interactive devotional is easily read aloud and would be perfect at meals wherever your table might be. Kids will use their imagination to build and plan their own food truck business as she takes them step-by-step through the process. This book would make a great gift from parents and grandparents and spark some great conversations about Jesus and business.

I’m very thankful for the care and attention Vanessa pays to connecting the Scripture to the lives of our young ones. As both a pastor and a father, I’m always looking for everyday ways to make the Bible extra special for my family. To be able to see Jesus in the ordinary is such a necessary and special gift!

The “Faith To-Go” section really helped me understand how to practice the lessons, so that I can turn them into actions.
