Christmas is here! If you’ve got children, then I know the excitement level in your household is pretty high. Christmas for kids means presents, parties, cookies, candy, and lots of fun! It also means there will be some fun Christmas activities for kids that are planned at school, church, and home. So much excitement bundled up inside for Christmas!

But maybe you are wanting to help your children shift their focus away from all those things and focus more on the birth of Jesus this year. And maybe you don’t know what to do to help them focus on Jesus. The items below are fun Christian Christmas activities for kids and families that point them to the true meaning of Christmas. Have fun as a family learning more about the greatest gift God gave to us in Jesus Christ!

This is a cute editable Nativity scene that you can make with your kids! Supplies needed and instructions on how to make are on the Gluestick Blogs website.

Nativity Story Stones

Help your kids tell the Nativity story using stones! The Rainy Day Mum website gives a great tutorial on how to make them. However, don’t worry if you can’t draw! Let your kids draw the characters and let them have fun re-telling the story using the stones they created.

Christmas Scavenger Hunt

Download and print off this Christmas Scavenger Hunt and have fun searching your town for all the items listed! You can split your family into two teams to see who can finish first. Or you can join up with another family or families and compete against them!
